DIY Make-Up Remover

One of the things I dread at the end of the night is taking off my make-up. Half the time I just want to jump into bed and say f*@k it, because it can be such a process. I came across this DIY beauty hack and thought it would be perfect for those nights when I'm feeling extra lazy. What I like about making my own make-up remover wipes is that it's not expensive, they're super easy to make, and they don't contain harsh chemicals that I can't pronounce. All you need is purified water, cotton pads, coconut oil, tear free baby soap and some sort of container to store them in. I chose this cute glass container from dollar tree that is the perfect size for my night stand. When it came to picking out the soap, I knew I didn't want one that would be abrasive to my skin so I went with Burt's Bee's because their stuff has always worked well with my body. Since using these products I've noticed a new softness in my face which is a huge plus! This is definitely a beauty hack that I recommend everyone to use simply because it's convenient and will benefit your skin in the long run. If you're interested in trying this out, I listed the steps below.

Step 1: Pour 1/2 a cup of purified water into desired container
Step 2: Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and add it to the water
Step 3: Add a squeeze of tear free baby soap and mix ingredients
Step 4: Place cotton pads into the container, let them soak and then use

Until next time.. xx
